Getting started

From install to your first live bundle and kit. The Setup guide on the app's Home page walks you through the same steps.

1. Install the app

  1. Open the CRO Booster listing on the Shopify App Store.
  2. Click Install and approve the app in your Shopify admin.
  3. You start on the Free plan. You can upgrade to Pro at any time.

2. Add the bundle block

The bundle block shows bundles on your product pages. You add it once.

  1. In the app, open Home and find the Setup guide.
  2. On the step Add the bundle block to your product page, click Add block in theme editor. The Shopify theme editor opens on a product page.
  3. Place the CRO Booster bundle block where you want it, for example under the Add to cart button.
  4. Click Save in the theme editor.

The block only shows on a product page that is the main product of an active bundle. On other product pages it shows nothing.

3. Create your first bundle

  1. In the app, open Bundles and click Create bundle.
  2. Give it a Title. Shoppers see this on the bundle block.
  3. Choose the Bundle type: Fixed bundle or Shopper picks variant.
  4. Click Add products and add at least 2 products.
  5. Set a Discount: percentage off, amount off or a fixed price.
  6. Choose the Main product. The bundle shows on this product’s page.
  7. Set the status to Active and save.

Open the main product’s page in your store to see the bundle. More in the Bundles guide.

4. Add the kit block

Kits use their own pages. Every kit page uses the same kit block, so you add it once.

  1. On the app’s Home page, find the step Add the kit block to your kit page.
  2. Click Add block in theme editor and add the CRO Booster kit block.
  3. Click Save in the theme editor.

5. Create your first kit

  1. In the app, open Kits and click Create kit.
  2. Give it a Title, for example “Build your snack box”.
  3. Click Add products to add the products shoppers choose from.
  4. Under Picks and stock, set Products to pick, for example 3.
  5. Set the Kit deal: percentage off, amount off or a fixed kit price.
  6. Set the status to Active and save. Click View kit page to see it.

6. Check App status

The App status card on the app’s Home page shows whether each block is on your theme: Active or Not added. If a block shows Not added, click Add block in theme editor and save.
