Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CRO Booster (the “App”) is a Shopify app provided by CRO Booster (“we”, “us”), Surat, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what personal information the App collects when a merchant installs it on their Shopify store, why, and what rights you have. Contact: support.croboosterai@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

About merchants (store owners and staff):

Store details from Shopify: store domain, store name, store owner name and email address.
App account details: install and uninstall dates, plan and trial status, email preferences, and whether you left an App Store review.
Content you create in the App: bundles, kits, settings, storefront text and custom CSS.
Feature requests you submit (title and details).
A Shopify access token that lets the App work with your store.

About your customers (shoppers):

For orders that contain a CRO Booster bundle or kit only: order ID, line item IDs, product IDs, quantities, amounts, discounts, order date and cancellation date; refund line IDs and refunded amounts.
We do not collect customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, customer IDs, IP addresses or payment information.
On your storefront, a shopper’s kit selections are kept only in the shopper’s own browser until they add the kit to the cart. We do not receive them. The App sets no cookies and runs no tracking.

3. How we use information

To provide the App: create and show bundles and kits, apply bundle and kit prices at checkout through Shopify, and tag related orders.
To show you bundle and kit sales and revenue, and to count kits sold against your kit stock limit.
To manage your plan (Free or Pro) through Shopify billing.
To send you service emails about the App (for example welcome, plan changes, items that need your review) and, unless you unsubscribe, a few product emails (setup tips, plan limits, review requests). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
To consider and answer your feature requests.

We do not sell personal information, do not share it for advertising, and do not use it for profiling or automated decisions.

4. Feature requests are public to other merchants

The title, details, status and our reply for feature requests are shown to all merchants who use the App, so everyone can see what is planned. Your store name or domain is not shown to other merchants. Do not include personal information in a feature request.

Shopify: the platform the App runs on, including billing.
Render Services, Inc.: hosts the App’s server and database.
Resend: delivers our emails to merchants.
Authorities, if the law requires it.

These providers process data only to provide their services to us.

6. How long we keep information

While the App is installed, we keep your data so the App works and shows your sales history.
When you uninstall, the App’s access to your store is removed at once. 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify asks us to delete your store’s data, and we delete everything stored for your store.
When Shopify asks us to delete a customer’s data, we remove the link between our stored order lines and that customer’s orders.
Database backups kept by our hosting provider are overwritten in its normal backup cycle.

7. Security

All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the App’s systems is limited to the people who run it, protected with strong passwords and two-step login. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected merchants and authorities of a data breach as the law requires.

8. Where data is stored

Data is stored on servers of our hosting provider in Singapore and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, or US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email support.croboosterai@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. Customers of a store should contact that store first; we act on the store’s instructions and on Shopify’s data requests.

10. This website

This website (croboosterai.com) uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and has no forms. It loads nothing from other websites. Our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell merchants in the App or by email.
